Efrem Plawner is a cinematographer, filmmaker, and photojournalist working between Los Angeles, Portland, New York, and the road. Documentary is the core of the work — character-driven nonfiction, sports communities, public life, and cultural identity — and it extends into narrative, music, and commercial production.
He has shot across documentary projects, published photojournalism, and independent film — including L39ION, Makapo Aquatics, and Voice of OC assignments — working in the field, with small crews, close to the people in the frame.
Available for documentary cinematography, field production, editorial photography, BTS, small-crew nonfiction, and development-stage documentary work.
